Spooky Stories

It is that time of year again...a time of spooky stories, spooky costumes and spooky nights. Did you know that Halloween was actually an Irish holiday to celebrate the fall harvest?  It came to American with the Irish during the Great Potato Famine of 1840’s and was celebrated on the eve of All Saints Day—known as All Hallow’s Eve.  Back then they told spooky stories and lit bonfires to scare away the spirits.
